The Regional Marketing Manager is chiefly responsible for building strong local relationships for the Barry’s community by connecting and leveraging partnerships with community organizations, corporations, and influencers. As brand ambassadors and client-facing members of our studio leadership team, they are well-versed in all aspects of our fitness program and business, and are key to providing superior customer service. A successful candidate in the Community Marketing Manager role possess outgoing interpersonal skills; is a strategic and creative thinker, hyper-organized, and passionate about health and wellness; and looks to be part of building a stronger Barry’s community.

Local Marketing Manager

  • Develop Regional Marketing strategy, taking into consideration National Campaigns and timelines
  • Oversee studio marketing strategy for East Coast studios with a hyper focus on underperforming studios and/or regions. 
    • Underperforming studios/regions will become top priority in certain situations and could also mean travel would be involved or expected 
  • Management and oversight of all special events, including pop-ups and outside-of-studio events, health fairs, in store takeovers, etc. 
  • Observe attendance trends to develop classes and analyze the results of theme classes and overall attendance across studios.  
  • Implement national campaigns & tools locally (e.g. Face Yourself, Buddies and other activations) 
  • Responsible for tailoring these campaigns to market, rolling out to studio managers, and ensuring they are a success
  • Responsible for supporting the coaching studio managers in solving studio-marketing issues and executing studio-level promotions.  
  • Report on success of local and national campaigns
  • Create local event calendar and determine Barry’s level of involvement in any community events across the East Coast. 
  • Oversee studio managers: Ownership of studio special events
  • Oversee studio managers: Execution of business driving and community-building studio-level promotions

Community Partnerships 

  • Identify community partners and relationships to leverage community driven concepts
  • Identify and tier community partners (restaurants, residential buildings, hotels, shared work spaces, universities/schools, etc) in the area for outreach.
  • Oversee studio managers: Organization and execution of community days with corporate and community partners

Corporate Sales 

  • Rollout and oversee Corporate lead generation strategies within all studios and in tandem with the Corporate Partnership sales strategies
  • Support Corporate Partnerships Coordinator by identifying corporate partners in the area by using CPC strategy & execution plans. 
  • Visit key corporate partners and present menu of offerings - meet with corporate companies to educate on Barry’s and provide swag/information
  • Identify ways in which Barry’s and these companies might be able to have a partnership
  • Continue to leverage studio/ client contacts to identify and develop relationships
  • Create monthly reports highlighting efforts and analyzing new and existing partnerships.
